2012 Board Nominations – Pittsburgh Chapter, ASIS International

Chapter leadership nominations are being accepted for the 2012 term. Nominations are open to all members. Any active or associate member may nominate any other active or associate member for one of the officer positions identified below. Self nominations are also encouraged. Once the nomination is received, the nominating committee will contact the nominee to confirm the desire to serve prior to posting a ballot.

Please forward nominations to Andrew N. Ondich, CPP (andy@andyondich.com) by close of business December 12, 2011.

The following positions open for nomination and a brief description of general responsibilities for each are identified below:

Chapter Chairperson:

• Appoint committee chairpersons
• Preside at all meetings
• Designate time, place and agenda of all meetings
• Appoint audit committee

Vice Chairperson:

• Preside in the absence of the Chairperson

2nd Vice Chairperson:

• Aid Chairperson in appointing Program and Membership Committee Chairpersons
• Oversee Program and Membership Committee activities as Chapter Chair’s delegate

Treasurer:

• Receive and deposit all monies, securities, funds and monetary credits
• Keep regular accounts of all chapter finances
• Present a detailed report monthly of all financial activity

Secretary:

• Maintain records of all Chapter proceedings and decisions
• Prepare and forward Chapter Activity Reports to ASIS International
• Provide notice to officers and members of Chapter business
